The Kodak Duaflex Camera

The Kodak Duaflex series of cameras represents a very interesting era in consumer photography. Photography was still of a new thing when introduced. They are easy to use and they only have one shutter speed, one aperture. Some models have a do have a Kodar lens that has zone focusing and three apertures. They are a pseudo-TLR camera. Meaning that the viewing lens and taking lens are not linked. Focusing the taking lens does not change the focus on the taking lens.

I absolutely love this camera. It’s completely impractical in these days of digital photography, but photography is all about the process. We as photographers have our own process to get our pictures.
